TRC Rules and Regulations

  • Playing Season – Mid-May through October 31ST
  • Hours of Play – 8:00 to dusk (Courts may be closed to play 1 ½ hours before dusk to allow maintenance and preparations to be carried out. Hours of play are at the discretion of the groundskeeper and may be varied, dependent upon the condition of the courts.)
  • Juniors – Juniors 12 to 18 years old can only play if accompanied by a parent or a Bond Member is present. However, if during designated hours of play a Bond Member wishes to play and there are no vacant courts, Junior Members must vacate the court within ½ hour of a request to do so.
  • Footwear – Regular flat, smoothed-soled clay court tennis sneakers are to be worn on the courts. Basketball, cross-trainers, and jogging type sneakers are prohibited.
  • Courts and Nets – Nets must be loosened when play is finished and courts must be swept (Including side and back courts). If it has rained, always assume the courts are wet and walk along backcourt next to the fence to investigate the condition of the courts.
  • No Play – There shall be no play, when a sign to that effect is posted, or when play could cause damage to the courts (ex: wet courts).
  • .Guest Privileges – Both Bondholding Members and Associate Members have guest privileges. There is a $20.00 fee for guests. The same guest is allowed a maximum of 5 visits per season (on honor system). No more than 2 guests on Saturday/Sunday/Holidays between 8:am and 12 noon. Associate members cannot have guests on Saturday/Sunday/Holiday mornings.
  • Order of Play – Courts will be used on a first-come first-served basis. When all courts are being used and people are waiting to play, those longest on the courts shall complete the set presently being played and vacate the court.  In any case, they shall vacate the court within a ½ hour. Double’s play is suggested. Players are limited to one hour when other members are waiting to play.  Weekends and holidays, between 8am and 12 noon, doubles play has preference.
  • Restricted Use of Courts – From time to time, tournaments or matches will be played on the courts. Members are advised to consult the bulletin board for information as to the date and time such events and the number of courts available for use by members.

NOTE: MEMBERS ARE REQUESTED T0 INSURE THAT LIGHTS ARE TURNED OFF, CLUBHOUSE AND GATE IS SECURELY LOCKED WHEN LEAVING THE COURTS. ALSO, PLEASE ASSIST IN KEEPING THE COURTS AND CLUBHOUSE CLEAN AND LITTER FREE.
